Going Over Scheduled Appointments & Postnatal Care

What if I want or need more than 6/7 visits?

1. Medical Complications (Free): If you develop a pregnancy-related complication (e.g., gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia, or high blood pressure), the scheme automatically covers up to 5 additional GP visits for free.

2. Personal Choice / Reassurance (Paid): If you wish to see the GP for your own reassurance or minor reasons without a medical complication, it is not covered by the scheme. Our standard private consultation fee applies

• Postnatal Care (Included & Free): The scheme does not end at birth. It covers two vital postpartum follow-ups at our practice: 1. 2-Week Baby Check: A dedicated assessment focusing on your newborn's weight, feeding progress, and vitals. 2. 6-Week Mother & Baby Check: A full clinical review assessing your physical recovery, mental well-being, and infant development.
